Sales Account Manager II Co-Pack

NOTE:
This is a remote position


Qualifications:

  • 5
    years of experience in a Sales Position with a proven track record of success, preferably of solvents to the paint and coatings market (Sherwin Williams, PPG, etc)
  • Bachelor s degree, preferably in chemistry
  • Proven ability to succeed in a metrics driven sales role with a high degree of autonomy - self-starter and scoreboard driven
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate an extensive network of contacts
  • Demonstrated experience as both an effective leader and team player


Responsibilities:

  • Direct sales responsibility for promoting and growing our Startex solvents brand as well as other private labeled chemistries and blends from drums down to pint containers in the coatings industry
  • Prospect for new business; conduct sales calls and actively grow the size of your territory
  • 75%
    overnight travel territory consists of VA, MD, DE, NJ, PA, CT, RI, NY, MA, NH, VT, and ME. Position is home based and can be located anywhere within the territory, though preference is for PA/NJ.
  • Maintain a clear updated view of your sales pipeline
  • Grow size of territory in accordance with Univar targets
  • Focus on customer retention and improving overall customer satisfaction
  • Provide customer technical support and consultant services to increase our overall value to the customer
  • Responsible for setting pricing and service levels, as well as maintaining and coordinating customer quotations or providing necessary information to allow local branches to do so.
  • Responsible for coordination with Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Operations to insure proper inventory levels and overall customer satisfaction.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
