Process Engineer

Job Responsibilities Establish continuous improvement mentality within production team with focus on safety, productivity, and on-time delivery Expand data systems and SPC program Develop PIDs, specification documents, process design package, and control systems functional design for projects Assist in resolving process safety issues Assist in troubleshooting technical process problems, initiate process reliability, safety, and economic improvements by revising process condition and procedures, Initiate and complete MOC's as needed and lead or participate in PHA's and PSSR's, Keep process documentation up-to-date (PFDs, PIDs, H&M balance, specification sheets, design documentation). Support new process startup - shift work may be required Successfully completes all assigned trainingsOn call for nights, weekends, and holidays Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering 5+ years experience in process, production, or project engineering Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification or equivalent knowledge, or Lean Manufacturing experience Strong Knowledge of Local Codes and Standards, as well as generally accepted Good Engineering Practice, for design, sizing, and operation of Chemical production facilities Ability to produce process design documents and control system interlock and functional design specifications Working knowledge of PLC and DCS control systems Process hazard analysis training; LOPA and HAZOP Experience working with highly hazardous chemicals at a manufacturing facility Basic fundamental engineering skills; including typical engineering documentation creation Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to multitask. Strong interpersonal skills Must be a team player with strong leadership abilities. Self-starter with the ability to perform well under pressure and continuously changing priorities Problem solving and decision making skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications Chemical plant operation experience strongly preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
