As a key member of the Sales Team in our North America?Closures Aerosol and Promotional Packaging (CAPP) Division, the?Sales Manager will be responsible for sales accounts nationwide. Reporting to the?Vice President of Sales, this position will be responsible for a number of business aspects, with a focus on marketing responsibilities for both existing and potential new customers. . We are seeking a high-potential employee with the ability and desire to advance within the organization. Specifics will include the following:
  • Marketing responsibilities for existing and new customers for the full scope of our CAPP metal packaging
  • Contract administration
  • General account management on a daily basis
  • Demand forecasting
  • Account receivables
  • Innovation or new product introduction
  • Problem solving and avoidance
  • General account management on a daily basis

  • BA/BS preferably in the majors of Business, Packaging or Engineering.
  • 7+ years account management experience in the Packaging Industry
  • Proven ability to develop and roll-out marketing plans for new business
  • Demonstrated success in profit improvement, cash flow management, increased Return on Invested Capital
  • Candidate must have experience managing National Accounts and a proven track record in development of profitable new business
  • Proven ability to function effectively in a team environment
  • Experience working with all levels of an organization, including engineering, operations, R&D, quality, purchasing, and senior management
  • Strong negotiation skills and understanding of contracts and commodities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills are a must
  • Candidate must be self-motivated and have the ability to take initiative
  • Solid presentation skills
  • While being customer focused, the candidate must also be a sound businessperson with a clear understanding of our company's financial demands/resources
  • Strong computer skills required. Ability to use Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects to completion
  • Travel 40-50%

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
