Residential Aide-New Rates--Up to $13/hr

Merakey is currently seeking Residential Aide to join our Merakey IDD division in our Yardley location.

_POSITION DETAILS_
Work involves providing individualized care, activities of daily living, including proper maintenance of living area, and guiding residents in leisure activities, work and day programming. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
+ Work also entails all chores necessary to maintain as normal a living environment as possible, i.e., laundry and housekeeping.
+ Work is performed in accordance with appropriate procedures under the supervision of the House Manager who reviews results through living area observation of activities in progress, residents' responsiveness, inspection of living area, reports and periodic meetings.
+ Staff will be required to follow a designated shift routine and assignments as outlined by the House Manager.
_POSITION REQUIREMENTS_
+ Valid state drivers license
+ At least 1 year of related experience preferred
+ Valid high school diploma

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
