Primary Purpose:


Operates and maintains company vehicles including fork lifts / pallet jacks to make pickups and deliveries and support production activities.¬  Scope of work includes and is not limited to the safe transports hazardous materials and wastes in full compliance with applicable federal, state, local statutes and regulations and company policies. Other duties as material handler are defined in this job description.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:


Completion of all OTC and Univar scheduled training courses as these come due.


Acquire and maintain all required driver and other licenses, including Class "A" commercial drivers license (CDL) with all required endorsements to include tanker and hazmat endorsements.


Ability to use and maintain respiratory protections equipment.


Knowledge of cGMP requirements as it pertains to FDARP / GFSI standards as applicable to the facility.


Ability to operate an industrial powered forklift and pallet jack according to company procedures and governmental regulations.

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions/Other Requirements:


Physical ability to lift and carry at least 100 pounds


Physical ability to tilt back or break 800 lb. net drums onto a dolly


Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time


Test negative on the company's drug tests


Satisfy all DOT physical qualifications requirements


May be handling potentially hazardous substances


Exposure to fumes, dirt, noise and hazardous chemicals on a daily basis.¬  May require safety equipment and/or precautions

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
