Senior Medical Writer - Medical Communications

Summary of Job:


A top tier Medical Communications agency focused on publication planning is looking for a Senior Medical Writer to join the team as a lead content creator. You will work with the highly collaborative team to develop scientific/medical content in order to help clients' achieve their strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:



  • Work closely with your director in order to achieve the organization's goals and your own professional goals


  • You will prepare deliverables (outlines, manuscripts, abstracts, scientific posters, and slide presentations that are generally focused on a specific therapeutic area) for leading pharmaceutical therapies.


  • As Senior Medical Writer you will work closely with other Editorial and Client Services team members to meet client expectations, budgets and timelines.


  • You will assist in the development of new business opportunities with clients and potential new clients. This will include participating in new business presentations.


  • You are responsible for providing project management services and client liaison for individual projects as necessary.


  • Conduct literature searches and background research for assigned projects.


  • Maintain and update files for scientific information and competitive data for assigned account(s).



Job Qualifications:



  • Advanced degree: PhD, PharmD, MD.


  • Previous medical writing experience in a Medical Communications agency.
