Description: Position Details: Reporting to the Design Manager, you will have responsibility for the design, verification and validation of power management IC's. You will manage the resources and activities through the full design cycle which spans product definition through IC validation.
Specific responsibilities include:
Design, pre-silicon verification, tape out and post-silicon validation efforts with a focus on first-time-right, on-time product releases
SoC architecture definition: quantifying trade-offs in, and partitioning functions among, analog and digital hardware and firmware
Oversight of design specifications, IC verification and validation plans
Signoff responsibility for verification coverage and spec compliance
Tracking and reporting on project status and advising on resourcing needs
Continual improvements in development cycle times and product quality through staff training and process improvements
Required Experience and Education
3-5 years of experience that includes successful mixed-signal IC Designs
Proven ability to set and meet development milestones
BSc/BEng in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, MS preferred
Preferred Skills and Experience
Technical depth in analog and/or logic design
Logic synthesis, STA, ATPG, and DFT in mixed-signal SoCs
Experience with embedded microcontrollers and firmware
Chip level verification using Verilog or System Verilog
Behavioral modeling of analog and mixed signal circuits using Verilog AMS
Switch-mode power supplies and/or feedback control systems
Code quality checks and code coverage methods for RTL and embedded firmware
Product emulation at a system level with custom PCB designs and FPGA's
Automated bench testing
Use of tracking systems for development milestones, tasks and bug resolution
Experience working with customers, marketing, applications, and test and product engineers through the product life cycle

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
