Job Description:
The Virtual Sales Specialists (VSS) for Veeam provides visibility and transparency of the joint business between Cisco and Veeam. They are the sales support link between Cisco sellers, Cisco resellers, and Veeam sales. The VSS are responsible for hunting for new opportunities in both the Cisco & Veeam pipelines, qualifying leads that come from global campaigns, and driving opportunities to closure by engaging the appropriate Cisco and Veeam account teams in the regions.
Support the regional business teams to win and close sales of Cisco & Veeam solutions;
Achieve quarterly sales targets;
Develop a deep knowledge of the joint Cisco/Veeam value proposition, products, tools and processes;
Identify and drive process improvements;
Establish strong working relationship with Cisco regional PSS Data Center teams, RSMs, sales teams, and their Veeam counterparts in assigned region;
Generate and distribute regular pipeline and revenue reports leveraging both Cisco and Veeam SFDC systems;
Attend regular team meetings & forecast reviews with stakeholders;
Build a strong relationship with joint partners.
Create sales pipeline for joint business between Cisco and Veeam;
Provide solution & process sales support to Partners & stakeholder field teams;
Deliver a programme of continuous training and enablement for Cisco and Veeam field sales teams, partners and end-customers for the Cisco & Veeam solutions, and Solutions Plus ordering systems;
Contact joint Partners to provide information about how to properly quote solutions and schedule demos with Veeam;
Give support to Partners regarding Account Planning and marketing opportunities;
Register and validate sales opportunities in Cisco Saleforce.com;
Work closely with VSS colleagues to stagger shift assignments for global coverage and vacation schedules.
Background/Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field: Business, finance, marketing, or similar
At least 2 years of technical sales experience in an international-oriented setting
Excellent level of English, both written and spoken.
Excellent MS Office: Outlook, Excel, PPT, Word
Preferred skills
Ability to work in a structured way to ensure consistency/ predictability/ quality;
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and (client) stakeholders on metrics issues (written and verbal);
Detail-oriented, proficient in collaborating with cross-functional teams, have the ability to perform detailed data analysis and possesses strong communication skills;
Excellent affinity with systems and a keen eye for trends, analysis, and recommendations;
Self-driven individual: ability to work/ act independently and think fast;
Business judgment / knowledge;
Knowledge of the PC and Networking industry preferred;
Excellent Team player;
Quick learner: ability to work in a fast-paced environment;

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
