As a strategic partner for assigned departments, the HR Business Partner provides consulting support for a full range of HR Services including organizational development, leadership development, talent management, succession planning, employee relations, and recruitment. Ensures organizational effectiveness through proper alignment of people, processes, structure and culture with business strategies. Participates in the establishment of plans to effectively communicate business strategies and objectives and implements change initiatives designed to support those goals. Continuously assesses and monitors the organization's progress toward attaining short and long term business objectives, and designs and implements programs and solutions to further those goals. Provides training and coaching to business line management team in the implementation of HR processes, solutions and programs. Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.

A successful HR Business Partner will have strong business acumen within financial services, interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills. Candidates must also demonstrate agility to perform effectively within a matrixed organization structure.
Partners with department leadership to formulate recruiting plans for open positions and reviews resumes, conducts screening interviews, schedules appointments for leader to meet with candidates, makes offers of employment, and conducts reference verifications depending on the position as needed.
Provides day-to-day direction to assigned department leadership on employee relations issues to include policy and procedure interpretation, performance management, employment-related investigations and adverse employment actions.
Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with HR team members to develop solutions, programs and policies. Participates and collaborates with departmental staff in the development and implementation of Human Resources initiatives.
Maintains an effective level of business literacy about the organization's financial position, its mid-range plans, its culture and its competition.
Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
We seek a background complete with a BA/BS and five (5) or more years of related experience with experience in employee relations, management and organization development preferred. Experience to include three (3) or more years recruiting and two (2) or more years HR generalist work in employee relations, benefits, compensation and workforce planning.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
