The Area Employee Relations Manager is a strategic role based in our Yardley, PA Headquarters office reporting to the Vice President, Labor & Employee Relations. This role, when not travelling to manufacturing sites, will serve as the Employee Relations contact for the Yardley office and oversee the Labor & Employee Relations (LER) function for ten (10) locations (union and non-union) across several Divisions located in PA, MD, CT, NY and VA. We are looking for an experienced and proactive individual who possesses excellent communication, leadership, motivational and employee relations skills with the ability to influence others across all employee levels in a manufacturing and corporate environment. Specific responsibilities include:
oAssist with the development, implementation and oversight of Employee Relations/Human Resource strategies, training, interventions, HR management and development, including organizational development. oAdvise and assist Corporate, Divisional and Plant Management Teams in the proper application of Company HR programs, policies, procedures and compliance with all local, State and Federal employment laws. Oversee and assist Plant Management Teams' pro-active promotion of a positive employee relations environment in order to maintain a union free operation. oInvestigate and seek resolution for employee issues/complaints. oLabor relations/grievance management at union facilities. oCoaching/consulting plant management on LER matters. oInterpreting and administering employee handbooks and collective bargaining agreements (CBAs). oBachelor's Degree with a concentration in HR or related discipline (commensurate experience may be considered). Master's Degree and/or PHR/SPHR a plus. o6
years of generalist HR experience in a manufacturing environment. o3
years managing multiple locations in both a union and non-union environment - Employee Relations (including Union Free strategies) and Labor Relations/grievance administration. oSignificant experience in the development and implementation of organizational effectiveness/development and training, and HR strategic planning. This position has no direct reports but will partner with Division and Plant HR. Travel requirements are approximately 40% travel:
daily, weekly, overnight and occasional weekends (including every few years for contract negotiations committee participation).
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
HR Management, Organization Development & Training, HR Generalists & Business PartnersEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
